The Land of Dreams
The land of dreams is a truly miraculous place where the only limit is your imagination. The deepest desires of your heart can be granted in an instant. Those who have left you in the waking world can come back and be by your side forever. Anything that is unpleasant can be dismissed and never again darken your day. History is a mute point for in the land of dreams all that has happened in the waking world can be rewritten and that new history becomes the only history. The future and present intertwine to bring together the best possibility of both. While in the land of dreams, mirth fills every fiber of your being and ecstasy washes over your soul. In this heavenly land of dreams you will desire to stay forever because the alternative is the waking world in which reality is far crueler. In the waking world instead of reality bending to your desire often times it will seem like it does the opposite to inflict the most pain upon you. Why leave the Elysian Fields for the pits of Hades? Upon waking we are ripped from Elysium, yet we do not strive to immediately return and forever forsake the waking world. The malleability of the land of dreams is because it is not real. No matter how deeply you desire for the world of dreams to be reality it shall never be. Those you love who are now only with you in the land of dreams are not really those people and are rather your most ideal memories brought into being by the desire of your heart. No matter how much you love the people in the land of dreams, they cannot really love you back for they are hollow entities. The waking world is filled with pain, but that pain is real and something that you can build off of to strive towards real happiness. There is still time for you to grasp those that you love and for you to move forward with them not in a perfect world, but rather in an imperfect world so that the experiences you have with them are real. Work towards a world that is so great that in your most pleasant dreams the world seems no different then that of the waking world.
