The Meaning of Life
Is there any point?
Life goes on despite all.
Pain is here and does not leave.
Happiness an eternal dream
A dream that never comes to life
Why do we look inward?
All that is inside is pain
Pain leads only to more pain
Happiness cannot come from suffering
That which we fear always comes to life.
Where can contentment be found?
To seek happiness hurts us
To reason destroys us
Sitting around withers us
We never existed in this life
What is real?
Reality is subjective to each person
I see happiness in others
I desire to be happy like the others
Their happiness never existed except in my life
What is meaning?
Pain, Happiness, and Reality
All swirling in the depths of my mind
Defining who I am without a fair chance
Emptiness has voided meaning and left only life
What is life?
The coldness and void of existence
The suffering of conscious thought
To be aware and so powerless
Life is nothing more then existence
