It's Time

I pull my body up in a curl

feeling this unearthly pain

a 15 year old little girl

it hurts so bad

do i deserve this?

I hadn't been careful

it all started with a kiss

bright lights surround me

fingers through my hair

everyones excited

but im so scared

they lay him on my chest

and all the pain is gone

this is what ive

been waiting for all along

this tiny little life

and not a word to say

just looking him over

to see if he's okay

his soft littel cheek

and his wrinkled little foot

I fell in love

at the very first look

Now he's two years old

but it seems like yesterday

I held him for the first time

with not a word to say
