1.Intro
As they arose, Lysandus could tell that they had been put into a comatose state, but they moved and followed him like mindless zombies. Deep within he hoped they would not stay like that for long.
Old Playt appeared before the three broken teenagers. “I need the last two Gems.”
“No! I need these to put this world back to the way it was.”
Old Playt looked around at Dussyllia, and it was indeed in shambles. Lava covered the planet and there were giant birds that flew around, engulfed in flames.
Old Playt hesitated. “I can help you, but first you need to give me those two Gems. It's the only way. I will return to fix everything. I promise.”
Lysandus gave him a crooked eye, and thought for a second. “Wait, you're Playt aren't you? How did you get so old?”
“Don't ask questions, just give me the damned Gems!” Playt flew towards Lysandus and grabbed both of the Gems from his hands like a greedy crack addict, fused to them and disappeared into thin air.
Distraught and hopeless Lysandus wandered the ruins of Dussyllia with his mindless friends trailing.
With each day that passed Lysandus hoped for a miracle to happen, and for everything to be back the way it was before they discovered Aspimiria.
No such miracle happened.
Instead, things slowly began to improve with time. There were survivors on Dussyllia. They had found refuge in rare parts of the planet that were unaffected, The Havens. Until Lysandus was able to have Playt bring back those perished and fix the planet, he vowed to be patient and protect the few survivors he could.
Slowly, Dirrinni and Orsidium regained themselves.
Soon thereafter, they surpassed themselves with incredible speed. Living in a world that was a ghost of itself, and knowing that they were partly responsible gave them new purpose.
They became heroes. Dirrinni's father Rewncold had survived the apocalyptic power, and Rewncold trained them as hard and furious as he could. The three young students learned quickly.
Even for Orsidium, it was no time for games and jokes.
The world was dead.
The group of four was the only thing preventing total extinction.
Five years passed.
The young boys quickly became men, and were constantly the apple of some woman's eye. Eventually more joined in the fight to survive, and that was when Evil Lysandus returned.
2.One
Because of the demons and new beings that had spawned from the nearly destructed Dussyllia, Evil Lysandus went unnoticed at first. Then there were rumors that Lysandus was a murderer at heart. Eye witness reports stated that the hero had lost the fight to internal demons and had betrayed their infinite trust by murdering an entire family in the most gruesome of ways.
“Never had I seen so much blood. Those poor children...”
A mob soon formed, and Lysandus was the target.
Evil watched from afar. He floated above the mob, his grin dripping strings of fresh blood onto those below.
Rewncold was the first to feel the presence of Evil, and soon to follow was Lysandus. His evil clone began to send him images of his joyous rampage through the house of the Lillians.
Lysandus stood strong at the doorway to Aspimiria with his three partners at his side, and called out to Evil.
Evil came, and Lysandus looked into the face of death once again. His features had changed, and he had gotten bigger and older. Much older than Lysandus. Playt had something to do with that.
Lysandus noticed that he no longer had the Blue Gem. He also noticed that he could not feel the presence of Insidious. Lysandus asked no questions. Instead he simply walked into Aspimiria and the others followed.
The fight was an intense war of four to one. However the four warriors soon realized that their combined might did not match up to Evil. Rewncold did the only thing he could. He sacrificed himself.
Anger filled the three young men and Evil smiled with glee.
Dirrinni began to step towards Evil, but Lysandus stopped him. “This is my fight.”
“He wasn't even your father Lysandus. This is personal.”
As if scolded yet intent, Lysandus turned to his friend and said simply, “This is not about whose father he killed. This is about me.”
And so Lysandus and Evil battled. Lysandus used Alessandra's strength from within him, and Evil used Adradiggi's soul. Lysandus was heavily outmatched, but would not give up. Orsidium and Dirrinni attempted to help but he screamed at them in a voice they had never heard before.
Lysandus and Evil grabbed each other by the face simultaneously and began to infect each others minds with strangling gloves. Orsidium gasped in a deep breath as Lysandus's body began to slowly shrivel into a skeleton and fall to the ground as a gray dust. Lysandus had died, once again.
Evil began to walk slowly towards the remaining two warriors when he blinked and cringed. Slowly his horns began to retreat into his head and his evil presence began to fade. He fell to the ground and began to cry as he slowly lost his muscles and became a weak mortal.
Then it was all over and he was silent and motionless. For many moments Dirrinni and Orsidium believed both their friend and his evil clone to be dead. Then they realized that whatever had formed in the sands below them was still alive.
3.Echo
Orsidium ran up to the creature that was laying in the sand and kicked it with his spiked boots.
Dirrinni yelled from the top of a hill. “Stop it Orsidium, it's still him! That's still our friend Lysandus. I know that his soul still remains.” Orsidium looked down to see Evil's horns retreat into his head. A tear fell from Orsidium's eye. Then he walked back to Dirrinni sulking.
Out of nowhere, Warrior Playt and Blue Hayt appeared in the Aspimirian field and an intense battle ensued
“Playt?” Dirrinni said. “Hey Orsidium, is that Playt? It looks like he beefed up.”
As they watched the fight between Warrior and Blue, they saw Lysandus's hat jump up and grab something out of Warrior Playt's hand. The Pearl.
Then his hat faded from existence and Hayt and Playt magically disappeared.
Old Playt approached Orsidium and Dirrinni from behind. “Lysandus is still in there. I know this, for I...”
“PLAYT!” Orsidium yelled. “It's you... again! This is your fault isn't it?! Lysandus was right, you did get old fast... But if you're the real Playt, then who was that? And where the hell have you been? Dussyllia is still in a state of total hell, and this place is nothing but purgatory. It's been 5 years! When the fuck were you going to fix things!?”
“I'm sorry...” said Old Playt, who then looked down to the sands of Aspimiria.
“You're sorry? What the fuck do you mean you're sorry?”
“I mean I lied... I had no intention of helping. I just wanted the Gems. I... I'm sorry.”
“No, fuck that. You fix this shit now, or I'm going to fucking kill you.”
Dirrinni spoke up, “Something tells me we can't kill him. Let's just leave him.”
“Wait...” Playt said in a desperate attempt to right his wrongs. “I... I have to hold true to my word. I will try to fix Dussyllia.”
“And bring back all those who perished because of Evil and Mantellan?”
“I will try.
”Playt appeared in Dussyllia and began to mend the world back into its former self. He used up every ounce of his energy, but before he collapsed in pure exhaustion he was able to resurrect a tenth of the population. Then he passed out.
When he woke up, Orsidium and Dirrinni were standing over him in wonder.
“Thank you for all your help Playt, but there are still many lost souls.”
“Ugh... I don't have it in me to bring anybody else back to life. I am all spent. I'm sorry. I will try to return and finish the job, but I cannot promise such a thing.”
“We'll be waiting. You better return,” Orsidium spoke disrespectfully.
“I will try to... and you're welcome.”
“Yea whatever.”
The elderly Playt disappeared once again and the two returned to Lysandus's body. They carried him into the new Dussyllia, where they had a fighting chance once again. Lysandus started to recover slightly, but his friends noticed odd things about him. He was not so nice as he had used to be. He had completely forgotten about the fight, and several other things as well.
At night Lysandus would grow horns and his eyes would be filled with fire.
Psychosandus had been born.
His rampage continued, but in a much weaker form. His friends knew that something was wrong with him, but they did not know the extent of it until the night they saw his transformation for the first time.
4.Within
As Evil awoke at night, Lysandus awoke within his new shell. He was attacked relentlessly by the demons within Evil, and Lysandus was constantly moving in order to survive. Along his path he found some lost souls that had been tainted. Using the powers that Alessandra had granted him so long ago, he was able to fix their sanities and they helped him along in his quest.
Eventually he was strong enough to actually fight the demons instead of running. As he fought some of the weaker ones off, he could feel his might increase and the walls around him shook as Evil Lysandus's body lost a lesser demon.
Lysandus stumbled upon a crippled version of himself. It was the internal memory core that had been automatically created when the clone was. However, it was quickly surrounded by hell and ripped to shreds. Lysandus approached it and released its pain, and in the same instance the night form of Psychosandus fell to the ground mid murder.
Within Lysandus, an evil presence began to grow. Not only had Lysandus infected Evil's mind, but Evil had somehow infected Lysandus's as well.
Psychosandus immediately knew of the internal invader, and his frustration caused him to lose momentum and motivation. That was when Orsidium and Dirrinni grabbed him and sedated him. They locked him up and kept him away from society. They fed him, but only during the day. They explained to the rational one what was going on, and the insane one they treated like shit.
Psychosandus awoke Adradiggi and sent him to dispose of the intruder.
Adradiggi confronted Lysandus, but was not physically powerful enough to deal with him. Instead, he opened a purgatorial void of endless torture and sent Lysandus in.
Psychosandus began to regain consciousness during the day, and to the dismay of Orsidium and Dirrinni, Lysandus's presence had completely disappeared. They slowly devised a last resort plan to eliminate the threat.
Within the void, time was skewed. For Lysandus, every minute was a year. The void he was in was designed for the sole purpose of eternal torture. It was Hell's solitary confinement. His muscles were torn and reconstructed every day. Lysandus still refused to give up, and his everlasting heart urged him to keep fighting no matter how much pain he endured. Because of this, Lysandus grew exponentially stronger and his tolerance for pain became incredible.
Two days had passed for Orsidium and Dirrinni, but for Lysandus 2880 years had passed. Within the void he did not age, however after being in the void for so long he began to forget who he was and what he was fighting for. He forgot all about the world and the beings within it. His friends became shadows of memories and his only desire was the fight against the void and to survive its torment. Eventually, he began to match the might of the void. The pain delivered no longer ripped his muscles, and instead fed energy to him.
That was when the void began to weaken, and also when Adradiggi began to flip out. His grip over the void was ripped to shreds, yet still he hung on with a few strings of energy.
And then it was gone.
Lysandus was spewed back into the body of Evil Lysandus and his appearance was shocking to the shadow thief. Within the two days the void was able to hold him he had became a warrior.
Adradiggi laid dead tired and strewn of energy. Lysandus walked up to him, slowly remembering everything. The dark shadow beast Adradiggi always had been intent. With his remaining energy he launched himself on Lysandus.
And perished.
5. Transgression
Lysandus quickly disposed of every demon he found. He no longer needed to run, unless it was to chase down a fleeing demon. He could hear Orsidium and Dirrinni talking from within.
“We just need to do it. He was a friend to both of us, but that's over now. He's gone, and we have to deal with this the way we know how. His time to be hero has passed, now it is our turn.”
”I understand. There is no other way. On three.”
Dirrinni picked up a large sharp and jagged rock and placed it on Psychosandus's chest. Orsidium picked up another rock and raised it high.
“One”
No guys! I'm still in here, wait!
“Two”
Oh god please don't let it end like this!
“Three”
Orsidium slammed down the rock onto the other and drove it deep into the chest of Psychosandus. A tear fell from Orsidium's eye.
Suddenly the rock started to come back out and fell to the ground. A black bubble began to appear from the wound and it began to grow, stretching the skin. Lysandus slowly crawled out of the motionless Psychosandus.
His friends stared at him in fear and disbelief, and ran.
Lysandus said nothing, and did not follow. Instead he stepped outside to see a much livelier world than when he had left. Somehow the population had almost completely been recovered.
Orsidium and Dirrinni kept their distance, and Lysandus allowed them to. He began to fight the demons with ease and within less than a week the demons stopped attacking three large cities.
His old friends grew more and more confident that their friend had actually returned. Orsidium eventually gathered up enough courage to confront him.
“Yes, I am Lysandus. I understand why you two are afraid of me and it's with good reason. I am dangerous.” Orsidium laughed.
“But you are still our friend Lysandus. You always will be. Even if you have gotten gigantic and super.”
“My power is not the thing to be afraid of. It is the evil thoughts growing within me now.”
With that Orsidium really was scared once again. His friend was the purest person he had ever known. Never had he spoken of evil in such a way.
Psychosandus had been presumed dead, yet that was not the case. He escaped from society and found comfort with the field of other demons. He continued killing innocent people once again, but this time it was more short lived than ever.
Lysandus appeared and destroyed him before he could harm another.
He was seen as a hero once again, and in fact The Hero. Orsidium and Dirrinni had not been forgotten, but they had become obsolete.
The demons stopped attacking as much and there was a time of peace in Dussyllia once again.
Lysandus stumbled upon a pink and blue woman named Tawl saving a woman and her children from a lesser demon. She had such bravery and ferocity. So foolish.
Soon there after they were married.
Within three years a child was born. The child was named Blud because of the birth inflicted red cracks on his black skin.
Lysandus lived with his son and watched him advance quickly. At two, the child had already learned how to control his Jenbar ability, and Blud's Jenbar ability happened to be shape shifting.
Lysandus had his hands full.
He raised Blud until he was five years old. Unfortunately, that was the extent.
