Review of
Disney’s Extreme Skate Adventure (GameCube,XBox, PS2)
By Ryan Wellman

First off, DESA for short, is a kids game, and is rated differently because to the average gamer it would have the same number, only out of ten. It allows children to skateboard like Tony Hawk with their favorite cartoon characters from Disney movies such as The Lion King, Toy Story, and Tarzan. An added feature allows them to create their own character to skate in the game.

Disney’s Extreme Skate Adventure is a good game for little kids if they do not get bored easy. There is however, a way to make it a little bit more enjoyable. Cheat codes. If you cheat there is a way to unlock more cartoon characters from Disney movies, such as Nala and Raffiki from The Lion King, as well as a couple of characters from the other two movies. There is also a way to unlock FMV sequences, or cinematic parts.

The sound in this game was not extremely……. any good at all. It would be best to turn down the volume after the first five minutes or you may get a headache. Just fair warning, unless you like the music, and in that case, I apologize. I played this game with my nephew however, and he got bored with the music, but loved the game.

Eventually he did get bored with it however, because at times it was a little too hard for kids. I saw this as a good thing, because after a while they kid will eventually find a way to beat it if they play it enough. Either that they will get bored very fast.
