World Of Lysandus #2: The Help
I was haunted by his killing sprees. I could see them in my dreams. He loved to visit me at night and show me what he had done. I could feel the pain and the fear. I saw all the death, and he forced me to smell the blood.
In my dreams, it felt like I was right there watching, helpless to do anything about it. I saw how much fun he was having at murder. He had no remorse, and he wasn't prejudice. He would kill the innocent, the not so innocent, and even the elderly. Any death made him happy, made him stronger. He could have killed me in an instant, but he chose to tease me, to show me that he was unstoppable. With each kill I could feel his power grow. I could feel his thirst being quenched. Each morning I would wake up in a cold sweat, screaming. I chose to finally face my fears, but I would need some help.
I pulled the magical gem from my hat and spoke into it. The Gallows told me that if I ever needed any help I could use the gem as some sort of phone to their world. I was to use it for only emergencies, and this was definitely an emergency. I told them what was happening and instead of getting any kind of answer from them, a gateway appeared at the end of my bed. I walked through it and found myself back in their realm.
It seemed that the place had changed. The colors had faded, and the usual bright colors, seemed to be nearing black and white. A Gallow fizzled into my field of view and stared up at me. He told me that what Evil had been doing to my world, had effected their world as well. Some of the Gallows had actually died, and the usually peaceful beasts, were attacking the cities and destroying everything in sight. He told me that I had to do something very quickly, and that he had no ideas.
My gaze dropped to the ground in disappointment and I turned around to walk away. Before I walked back into my world he yelled at me to stop. I looked back with a puzzled look and he just stared at me. He said that there was somebody that might be able to help me, but nothing was certain. Before I left he told me to believe in myself, and that the only true way to destroy anything evil, was to have faith in myself. If I was to fall under the enemy's spell, then there would be no hope for any of us.
Once I got back to my world, I had no clue what to do. I laid in my bed and just stared at the ceiling. If I slept, I would surely see another glimpse of what Evil was doing. I didn't want to know, I didn't want to see his tormenting visions. All I wanted was to be rid of him, so I stayed up and thought about ways to destroy him. Just when I thought there was no hope, I heard something in the living room.
I ran in and saw a bright light coming from nowhere. The light was overwhelming, and it spoke to me. It was a woman's voice and she told me that she was to give me a gift. That's when I asked who she was, and who had sent her.
"I am Alesandra, and I sent myself. I work for nobody, I am nothing but a lost soul with amazing energy. I was raised by the Gallow's and murdered by the thief Adradiggi. With this new power I am giving to you, you will be able to steal the souls that Evil Lysandus has eaten. You will weaken him with each one you take from him, and it will strengthen you as well. I warn you, it will not be easy to destroy him, because he is just as smart and cunning as you. The only difference is, he is ruthless. He doesn't listen to words, but only the demons inside of him. Trust yourself, and never give up."
As the last of her words of wisdom faded away, a surge of lightning started to course through my body. I floated upwards slowly and stopped somewhere in the middle. I closed my eyes and nothing but beauty filled me. I saw everything that people really truly love, but take for granted. Things that people think are soft and weak. I saw innocent animals, newborn babies, the sunset, the stars, and I saw love. More than that, I felt love. I understood that most people suppressed these feelings, because they think that their feelings mean nothing in the end. I realized that I needed to be both strong, and open. As I remember the goodness, the "feelings", were Evil Lysandus's weakness. All these thoughts ran through my head as the lightning shot through my body.
Then it was over, and I fell to the floor. I sat up and stared into the distance. I felt the power, and I knew what I needed to do. Evil Lysandus will fear me from now on, and will try to run. This time I won't let him get away though, this time I'll make sure he's dead. The next time I see that Evil son of a bitch, he's gonna wish he was never created.
